The Doro pump
This is the latest dredge pump addition to our range, and is combined with the Truxor DM 5000. The pump is driven by a hydraulic engine, and has a capacity of 10-40m3 per min. The pump is mounted on a telescopic arm.
A rotating wheel with horizontal edges and vertical teeth loosens the sediment and cuts roots and soft materials, in order to facilitate the feeding of material to the pump’s inlet. Thanks to the rotating wheel, the pump is easier to operate than its predecessor which had a feed screw at the pump inlet.
The feed is vital to provide the pump with an even flow of sediment. This is also facilitated by the knives, which are mounted at the pump inlet. |
